Hi, I’m Yao Luo, a student from the Sino–Foreign Cooperative Accounting Program (Class 1, 2+2). I studied for two years at IMUFE, and I am now in my first semester at Swinburne University of Technology.

Studying and living in Australia has been a very special experience for me.

Melbourne is a city full of culture and art, with friendly people and a relaxed lifestyle. I’ve learned to enjoy the small things in life, such as cooking for myself, shopping at the supermarket, walking around the city, and feeling the greenery of nature in the parks.

My study experience at Swinburne University has also been wonderful. The classes are practical and engaging, and the learning atmosphere is open and supportive. I’ve met classmates from different countries, and we often work together on group projects. Although the workload can sometimes be heavy, I feel that I’ve made great progress, especially in creativity, independence, and communication. My English has improved a lot, and I feel more confident expressing myself. The teachers are very kind and always willing to help and support us.

    I really like Melbourne’s weather (except when it rains too much ). On weekends, I love exploring the city with my friends, trying new foods, visiting exhibitions, or shopping at local markets. Life here feels comfortable and full of joy, and every day brings something new. I truly love my life here, and studying abroad has made me more independent, open-minded, and confident about the future.
